(Update:) Two Bhutanese nationals, who were let go by the Thai Authorities in connection with the smuggling of contraband substance, are in police custody. They arrived in Bhutan today.
The police said both of them will be interrogated. However, they said, it is too premature to comment on the case.
The two, one man and a woman were held by the Thai Authorities after the suitcase they were sharing with another Bhutanese woman was found containing five kilograms of Ketamine. Upon the intervention of the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Bangkok, the two were released.
The main suspect is still in under custody in Thailand. A press release from the foreign ministry had said she will have to appear before a court.
The three were arrested on Sunday at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok.
