A two-storied traditional house razed to ground at Lusbee village in Bumthang, last midnight. Police and fire brigade rushed to the location and could contain the fire at 3 AM.
Two families, with nine family members, residing in the house, could not salvage any of their belongings.
The police say it is electrical short-circuit which caused the fire.
Bumthang’s Kidu Office has given a semso to Nu 10,000 each and emergency kits to the two families.
