A 23-year-old man home-quarantined in Trongsa since 8th of March after he tested negative of COVID-19 has not shown any symptoms of being infected. Health officials in Trongsa have been monitoring the home-quarantine ever since.
He first came to the hospital with cough and mild fever on 7th March. Suspecting COVID-19, since he returned from Bahrain, his samples were sent to the Royal Centre for Disease Control in Thimphu. He was discharged the very next day after the result showed negative with instructions to remain in home-quarantine for 14 days.
He completes his quarantine period today and so far he didn’t show any symptoms of the virus. He was, however, advised by the health officials to adhere to necessary health advice until the COVID-19 case dwindles across the world.
