Highlighting the importance of Bhutan’s cultural beliefs and values rooted in the legal system, and the importance of the constitution, a television series titled Zhidheyi Tsawa and a legal animation series, named Super Norbs, was launched.
Her Majesty the Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck graced the launch in the capital, today.
The series were initiated by the President of the Bhutan National Legal Institute, Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck.
Scripted by Ramjam Ugyen Nima and Ramjam Tashi Yangzom, Zhidheyi Tsawa consists of 25 episodes. The series reflect the importance of law and processes of legal system.
Super Norbs, the first animated series for children was scripted by Thinley Yangchen Dorji. The animation consists of 15 episodes, highlighting the Constitution of Bhutan, civic education, and other important legal issues.
The series were funded by the UNDP and the UNICEF. The series will be aired on BBS 2 from the April 18.
The launch was attended by the representatives from the International Organisations, Drangpeons, dignitaries and local actors. The crew members of both the series were awarded certificates.
