E-sports, the Bhutan Mobile Gaming Association has set foot on the 15th World Esports Championship in Iasi, Romania. 33-year-old, Tashi Dorji, took part in the qualifier round of the e-Football tournament. Tashi Dorji played five games but only managed to win against his opponent from the Czech Republic.
The 10-day tournament saw eSports such as Mobile Legends, PUBG, Dota 2, Tekken 7, and CS:GO feature. Over 700 players from 110 countries took part in the championship the International Esports Federation organised.
This is the second time Bhutan was represented at the World Esports Championship. Although Tashi Dorji did not qualify for the next round, he is hopeful for the future.
