The Royal Securities Exchange of Bhutan (RSEB) launched three online-based systems yesterday. Impact Bhutan, a fundraising platform and automated reporting management system (ARMS) that will encourage timely disclosure of information to shareholders. And the third one is property e-Auction system, a platform where the people will have the flexibility to sell or buy assets at one’s own convenience.
Impact Bhutan is expected to serve as a catalyst for social causes through crowdfunding. While ARMS will enhance market transparency and disclose timely information from the listed companies to its shareholders.
Property e-Auction system will enable to create auctions and enhance a transparent bidding process.
“Under this crowdfunding platform, we will have two models that include donation-based and reward-based. In order to encourage listed companies to be more transparent and make our information more available in the market, we have launched an automated reporting system (ARMS). Property e-Auction system is an online system designed for properties that are meant for auction,” said Dorji Phuntsho, the CEO of RSEB.
It is an effort to use digital technology to solve problems.
