The four-week Senior Executive Leadership Programme at the Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS) in Phuentshogling concluded yesterday. The Chief Justice, Lyonpo Sonam Tobgye, graced the closing ceremony.
Twenty three senior officials from the government, corporate and armed forces took part in the programme.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Justice reminded the gathering that serving the nation is not a favor but a duty as responsible public servants. Lyonpo added that through various programmes, the institute should build shared values, find common interests and fulfill national imperatives.
According to the participants, the program has benefited them, as it has been an insightful journey in understanding certain aspects of country.
This programme is the first course provided by the institute since its inception this year. Many more are in the pipeline.
