The scrutiny of postal ballots was completed in Haa Dzongkhag, today. Out of 563 postal ballots received, 104 postal ballots were rejected.
The Returning Officer said most postal ballots were rejected as they had been filled by people who were not registered as postal voters. Some did not have witness names written on the ballot, while others had invalid VPIC numbers.
Rejection letters will be sent to those whose ballots have been rejected.
But those who are enrolled in the electoral roll of their constituency have the option of casting their votes on the polling day.
