The Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay attends the 19th convocation for the 2014-15 graduates of Royal Institute of Management (RIM), today. Two hundred and fifty graduates received the certificates in masters, post graduation and diploma level.
Also, the Australian Ambassador to Bhutan, Patrick Suckling handed a mock cheque of US$ 475,358 to the Royal Institute of Management, yesterday.
The amount will be used for those undergoing PhD studies in Australia under scholarship. The PhD scholarship is aimed at strengthening the faculty and in improving the research and development in Royal Institute of Management.
Royal Institute of Management is the first institute to receive the support from Australia.
