Three Indians arrested in a gold smuggling case

Three Indian men are in Paro Police Custody for smuggling 1.155 kilograms of gold. The Regional Revenue and Customs Office apprehended the suspects at the Paro International Airport on November 8.

They are found to be in possessions of three gold chains. Upon further investigation by the police, the suspects were found carrying three gold bangles and four small biscuits of gold.

The suspects were coming from Bangkok and they were planning to travel to India according to the police.
