A 16-year-old boy, who went missing since September last year from Zhemgang was found in Mumbai, India. The boy will be returned to the Bhutanese Embassy in New Delhi on Friday.
The boy was found in Mumbai in March this year. He was said to have been kidnapped by some unknown people while on his way back from school in Zhemgang. The child was taken to Mumbai and sold off. Mumbai police found the boy and was kept at Dongri Children’s Home.
According to the Bhutanese Embassy in New Delhi, Mumbai police have informed them that the child will be escorted to the embassy on Friday.
