The 720MW Mangdechhu Hydroelectric Project Authority achieved water at the reservoir to its maximum elevation of 1747 metres above the sea level on Thursday. This level will be maintained throughout the year.
The maximum water level is called the full reservoir level and its success signifies that the project has enough water to churn all the power generating machinery or Units. The project first achieved the desired operating minimal water level of about 29 metres in May this year.
