Trashigang dzongkhag health officials are on their way to investigate a suspected measles outbreak at Sakteng Lower Secondary School.
Around 50 students have been suffering from red rashes and red eyes. The first case was reported on Monday.
While some of the affected students were referred to Trashigang hospital, others have been asked to stay home.
Measles is highly infectious disease caused by a virus with symptoms such as red rashes, runny nose and cough.
