A 63-year-old man is under Trashi Yangtse police station for allegedly stabbing his adopted son.
Police apprehended the suspect Friday after the Basic Health Unit at Khamdang reported the case.
Police said the father stabbed the son’s left forearm.
The suspect told the police he stabbed the son after he hit the father.
Police said the doctor could not suture the wound and referred him to the Eastern Regional Referral Hospital in Monggar.
The son, who is still under observation, is in a stable condition.
