The Kidu Mobile Medical Unit, initiated by His Majesty the King, in Samtse Dzongkhag has started providing medical services to the needy. The clinic has Bhutanese medical specialists, dentists, a gynaecologist, and health workers.
It became operational from yesterday at the Tendu Gewog’s Basic Health Unit (BHU). Hundreds of people from remote villages in Tendu gewog have already visited the mobile team.

The mobile clinic focuses on providing specialized medical services to the underprivileged. Among other services , the doctors also carry out ultrasound check-ups for pregnant women.
The mobile clinic will be visiting several other remote BHUs in Samtse Dzongkhag.
