The Indian Home Ministry’s Secretary for Border Management, A K Mangotra, called on the Prime Minister Jigmi Y. Thinley at the Gyalyong Tshogkhang yesterday.
Secretary A K Mangotra is in Thimphu leading an eight member delegation for the 8th Bhutan-India meeting on border management and security.
Lyonchhoen welcomed the delegation and thanked them for holding fruitful discussions on matters of mutual concern. He said the border management meeting is an important mechanism to nurture and deepen the special relationship between Bhutan and India.
Secretary A K Mangotra and the delegation arrived in the country on January 28.
