The Ministry of Health will initiate registration for the COVID-19 vaccination program on Sunday. The program will be the official portal for registration for COVID-19 vaccination in the country.
Upon the completion of registration, the health ministry will plan the vaccination centres according to the registration data. All registered individual will be informed of their Vaccination Centre and Dates through SMS to the registered number. Likewise, a toll-free number will be shared to report any symptoms after vaccination for surveillance. However, the choice of vaccines will not be provided.
Sangay Phuntsho, a Senior Programme Officer from the Department of Public Health under the Health Ministry was on BBS sharing the details about the registration process.
