His Majesty confers Red Scarf to Dasho Karma Tshiteem

20151217-IMG_6565His Majesty the King conferred Bura Maap or Red Scarf to the Royal Civil Service Commission’s Chairperson, Dasho Karma Tshiteem, today.

Dasho Karma Tshiteem, 50, from Paro, said he is honoured to receive Bura Maap. He is the only recipient of Red Scarf, this year. “I am grateful to His Majesty for awarding me the Red Scarf. From my side I take unwavering oath to serve Tsa-Wa-Sum”.

Dasho Karma Tshiteem joined civil service in 1989 as an Assistant Finance Officer with the finance ministry. He then served in various capacities in the ministry.

He was appointed the RCSC’s Chairperson, his current position, in April, last year. Prior to that, he served as the Secretary of Gross National Happiness Commission.
