His Holiness the Je Khenpo confers Dhars to five Lams

His Holiness the Je Khenpo conferred Dhar to five lams of the central monastic body at the Tashichhodzong today.

58 years old Lopen Sha Thinley from Ruebisa, Wangdue Phodrang was conferred Dhar for Toedsey Jim. He worked for 12 years in one of a religious project of His Majesty The King.

45-year-old Lopen Sherub Tharchen from Haa is the new Chief Administrative Officer of Punthim Dratshang. Prior to his current appointment, he served as a clerk (Ley-drung ) and assistant chief administrative officer of Punthim Dratshang.

Lopen Pelbar, 44, from Khelakha under Nyishog Gewog in Wangdue Phodrang was conferred Dhar for Toedsey Jim. He is serving as a Manager (Zinchong Gopen) at the Gyensho Kipling Goenpa in Punakha.

39-year-old Lopen Nidup from Paro Tsento was appointed as a Tshengye Umze. Prior to his current appointment, he served as a Tshengye Umze Wongma of Punthim Dratshang.

38-year-old Lopen Tashi Tshering from Monggar was appointed as a Principal of Pemaling Astrology School in Sershong, Umling  Gewog under Gelegphu Dungkhag. He served as a teacher for 9 years in the same Astrology school.
