The Sakten Gup’s office in Trashigang was razed to the ground by a fire yesterday. The fire broke out at around 6 pm.
The fire was brought under control at around 9 pm by the local residents. However, all the office documents were lost in the fire.
According to Sakten Gup the fire could have started from Bhukhari. The Gup’s office was handed over to the Gewog in 2005.
