The Vice President of European Investment Bank, Roman Escolano and his delegation called on the Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, today.
The Vice President said the bank is ready to collaborate with Bhutan and invest in projects such as hydropower, energy efficiency, and environment management.
Lyonchhen encouraged the delegation to work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests and to come up with workable projects, which could soon be implemented.
Lyonchhen also wished the delegation success for the signing of Framework Agreement today.
The diplomatic relations between Bhutan and EU dates back to 1985.
