Druk Pol FC is the winner of this year’s Thimphu Football League by 25 points. The team was awarded a cash prize of Nu.100,000. Team Zimdra came in the second place and team Yeedzin took the third place.
In the last matches played at the RBP football ground today, Yeedzin defeated Transport United, six goals to nil. In the second match, Zimdra defeated Druk Pol by two to nil.
The first runners up, Zimdra, took away a cash prize of Nu.80,000. Yeezdin took home a cash prize of Nu.30,000.
A total of 6 teams from Thimphu had participated in the league tournament which started from September 1.
The league was organised by the Bhutan Football Federation.
