The first-ever Coronation Championship finals will be played between Paro FC and Druk Lhayul FC at the Changlimithang stadium tomorrow. Druk Lhayul FC edged past their rivals, Thimphu City FC into the finals of the Championship 2022 in a dramatic fashion. The lone goal came in the first half of the game when the attackers found an open space.

All four teams secured two victories each in the tournament with Thimphu City FC and Transport United FC equal on points. The winning team gets to establish itself as the elite team among the top BPL Clubs, at least for some time.
