The women’s football team is all set to make history, tomorrow, as the team will set foot on the King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Taif, Saudi Arabia for their maiden international tournament final.
The dragon girls will lock horns with Lebanon, whom the Bhutanese team lost to during group stages of the ongoing Women’s International Football Tournament.
Bhutan reached the final after an enthralling semifinal match against the host nation, Saudi Arabia, where a solitary goal by Yeshi Bidha in extra time was the difference between the two teams.
The match will kick off at 11.30 pm Bhutan time and can be viewed on the FIFA website.
