COVID-19 Taskforce facilitates movement of 120 people to low-risk district, Gelegphu

Completing the mandatory one-week quarantine, 120 individuals left Gelegphu in four buses this morning for other low-risk districts. The COVID-19 Taskforce in Gelegphu facilitated the transport service.

Among the 120 passengers, 20 are graduates on their way to Thimphu to sit for the Preliminarily Examination scheduled on coming Sunday. They acknowledged the government for facilitating them quarantine facility for free of cost.

A total of 2,606 people have registered for travelling to other dzongkhags till date. So far, the task force facilitated the travel of 1,876 people. And for now, a total of 253 people are undergoing the one-week quarantine period for travelling to other dzongkhag.
