Citrus greening disease, fruit dropping and dying of cardamom plants left the farmers worried in Tsirang for sometimes now. However, venturing into kiwifruit came as some respite. With some 50 farmers growing the fruit since 2015, kiwi could be the next cash crop if the diseases continue plaguing their cardamom and mandarin yields.
