A Bhutanese student, 15, is under Indian police custody after he allegedly stabbed an Indian student to death in Darjeeling. The deceased, who was also 15, succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
The incident took place last night at a trekking camp, about 35-kilometres away from Darjeeling.
Prime Minister, Tshering Tobgay during today’s press conference, said an argument could have triggered the incident.
Lyonchhen said the government has formed a committee, which is closely monitoring the situation.
