Bhutan won the best sustainability initiative at the 6th Young Chef Olympiad 2020 held in India from 27th January till 2nd February.
Young Chef Olympiad is an international cooking competition based in India with participants from more than 55 countries. Sonam Dendup Subba, who represented Bhutan was also offered to work as an intern for a year in the US.
Sonam Dendup is currently studying hospitality management at the Royal Institute for Tourism and Hospitality.
