Bhutan’s senior women cricket team took the fifth place after defeating the Iran women team by three wickets in the Asian Cricket Council Women’s Championship held in Thailand.
Bhutan won the toss and decided to field first. Team Iran made 74 runs for all out in 21 overs, while team Bhutan made 75 runs for seven out in 18 overs.
A total of 11 teams participated in the championship. The final will played tomorrow.
