Iran elected to bat first after winning the toss. The Bhutanese bowlers managed to restrict Iran to 150 runs. Ranjung Mikyo Dorji and Tenzin Wangchuk grabbed two wickets each. While batting, Bhutan was bowled out for 100 runs, falling 50 runs short off the target. Only Gakul Kumar Ghalley and Tashi Phuntsho managed to score above 20 runs.
