A feast of cultural and biological diversities of Zhemgang is on the plate for the participants of Bird-a-thon and Cyclothon and other guests.
According to sources, this time, the Dzongkhag preparation group came up with a new concept of using local resources for the preparation of the event venue including the bamboo pavilion for the very important guests, and all stalls are made from the ancient Khengpa intricate design to showcase and minimize cost, except tarpaulin and lightings.
The festival also expects to provide new economic avenues for local businessmen of Zhemgang through various event-based activities and showcase, sale of local products during the three-day event at Tingtibi.
