The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) says they will not reinvestigate Learn and Earn programme case. This according to an official from the commission said the initial investigation covers all aspects and there is nothing additional that require further investigation.
The representatives of the students who went to Japan under the “Learn and Earn” programme appealed the ACC seeking a further investigation into the case.
In the letter submitted to the commission, the representatives said the earlier investigation had overlooked visa processing fees and airfares.
The appeal letter stated that students were charged exorbitant visa processing fees, airfare charges, and tuition fees in Japanese language schools.
The ACC in December forwarded the case to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
