Researchers and farmers can now easily avail guidelines of livestock farming and farming through the newly launched website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forest (MoAF). Any individual can access by going to the website www.dol.gov.bt.
The website was launched recently.
The website will serve as a source for scientific publications, protocols and other subjects on livestock-related activities in the country.
According to the ministry, the website provides a platform for livestock researchers and development workers to showcase their efficiencies of delivering goods and services in the 12th five-year plan.
“Livestock development in Bhutan is very unique. We are not much into conventional farming. We are still with semi conventional farming, the traditional farming. We do not use too much antibiotics. So people who want to know about this unique type of livestock farming in Bhutan can access it. ”
Furthermore, the website will allow academicians to apply online for official clearances to undertake research works in Bhutan.
