Nineteen vintage cars, from around the world, are in the country for 15 days for a rally called Thunder Dragon. The rally, which has the oldest car, Vauxhall 1923 model, entered the country from Phuentshogling. A car manufactured between 1919 and 1930 is considered vintage.
Fifty-one participants from nine countries are taking part in the rally. They are driving Rolls Royce, BMW, Bentley, Porsche and Jaguar.
Most of the participants are professional race drivers. The Norbu Bhutan Travel private limited is organising the event.
They are in Monggar today. They will explore the roads in the eastern region after two days.
