Golden Bumpa offered for The Gyalsey’s well-being

Golden Bumpa offered for The Gyalsey’s well-beingCoinciding with the birth of The Gyalsey, Her Majesty the Royal Grandmother, Ashi Kesang Choeden Wangchuck, along with Zhung Dratshang, offered a golden Bumpa to Dechenphu Lhakhang, today. The Bumpa is worth Nu 3.5 M.

Lektshog Lopen offered the Bumpa to the Lhakhang. Bhutanese pursuing further studies in Australia also contributed in making the Bumpa.

“This is a contribution made by the people,” said Lektshog Lopen, Sangay Dorji. “This is offered for the well-being of our Gyalsey”.

The Lhakhang also conducted Goenye Ja Tsar and Seykaem Ja Tsar Kurim to celebrate the birth of The Gyalsey.

To celebrate the Royal Birth, Semtokha Shedra is also conducting a special three-day Goenpoi Tongtsho Kurim at the Dzong, beginning today.
