Strike in Assam affects Bhutanese travellers

A strike called by Adibashi group in Assam starting this morning has affected the Bhutanese travellers. Bhutanese vehicles plying Assam will have to wait until Friday to resume their journey.

The 36 hours strike is called by the Adibashi for recognising the Scheduled Tribe status of the Adibashi in the Assam.
