The Sarpang COVID-19 Task Force issued a three-day closure notice to 13 business entities in the district from today for not complying with COVID-19 safety protocols despite repeated reminders by the task force.
They were found breaching safety protocols several times during the routine patrolling by the task force. The task force found the shops entertaining customers in their shops without using the Druk Trace app and lack of handwashing facilities outside their shop. The task force also closed 17 shops in the district for three days for breaching the COVID-19 protocol last month. The 13 shops are asked to adhere to the safety protocol hereafter. Repeated offenders would result in the closure of their shops for more days in future
