After its official launch on December 17, the Bhutan Airlines made its first scheduled flight today.
Two Japanese tourists and a guide were on board from Paro airport to Yonphula domestic airport.
Bhutan Airlines will fly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
To avoid both the airlines from travelling to the same destination, the flights will take off on alternative days.
The airline also made its chartered flight to Yongphula from Paro on Monday with five passengers. The airline returned with 6 passengers.
