The price of petrol is likely to drop in the coming days.
According to Indian media reports, the state-owned oil marketing companies are yet to announce the reduction of one to 1.50 rupee a litre from tomorrow.
Their decision to reduce the price follows a fall in the price of petrol in the international market.
According to officials from the trade department, the price of petrol in Bhutan will also decrease if the price in India falls.
Currently a litre of petrol in Thimphu costs Nu.60.93.
