Bhutan Airlines signs lease agreement with AerCap

Bhutan Airlines will lease two aircrafts from AerCap, a global aircraft leasing company and replace its existing fleet by mid of next year. To formalise the deal, the Bhutan Airlines signed lease agreement with AerCap in the capital yesterday.

BoB launches online loan application platform

The Bank of Bhutan (BoB) clients can now apply for loans, cards, credit cards and INR prepaid cards online through its website and Mbob anytime, anywhere. Called the Loan Origination System, the facility will do away with paper works and speed up loan processing works. The online system was launched nationwide yesterday.

Fire razes 4 huts at Changghidhaphu

A fire totally destroyed four huts at Changghidhaphu in Thimphu yesterday. The huts were home to employees of Thimphu Thromde and Greener Way, a private waste company.
