Gyalpoizhing Forest Range intercepts illegal sandalwood

Gyalpoizhing Forest Range office seized 100 cubic feet of sandalwood from Zimzorong in Monggar, this morning. The wood was found hidden under sacks of rice in a truck that was travelling to Paro.

Inflation continues to drop

Bhutan’s consumer inflation continued to drop, reaching an all time low of 6.3 percent in December, last year. In November, inflation recorded was 6.6 percent.
