Bhutan is participating in the Mekong Business Challenge for the first time. It is an Entrepreneurship Competition for university students in the Mekong Region which includes Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Yunnan Province in China.
Two teams from the Royal Thimphu College are representing Bhutan. They were selected for their business ideas of making interlocking bricks and Menjong Pasta.
They will compete in the Round Two in March next year in Cambodia. Eleven entries were selected from around 100 entries from seven countries.
