2500 volunteers have completed the accelerated DeSuung training programme. The three-week programme was held in seven centers across the country.
The passing out parade of the accelerated DeSuung training was held today in the centres.
All 2500 trainees are volunteers consisting of teachers, in-service graduates, unemployed youth.
Training for these men and women were specifically focused on public health and security, so that they can assist health workers if required.
The training for next batch with 2520 volunteers will begin on May 4.
