Following a devastating earthquake in Nepal last year, Bhutan sent its first international medical relief team to help Nepal with its rescue efforts. The team was formed upon the Royal Command of His Majesty the King. Treating victims of the quake, the Medical Relief Unit camped at Trishuli under Nuwakot district for more than three weeks. Nuwakot was one of the worst hit districts.
Our reporter, Sonam Wangdi, as part of the team, followed them and brings to you how Bhutan assisted Nepal during its time of distress and came out successful, winning hearts of the people of Nepal.
