Samtse police arrested a 28-year-old man, an escaped detainee, on Tuesday from Samtse.
The man was first arrested in March this year in connection with a larceny case.
The detainee escaped while he was being taken to the Thimphu Dzongkhag Court for a hearing on June 19.
He was produced to the court yesterday after his arrest on Tuesday.
In addition to 31 pending cases against him, the man will also be charged for escaping from lawful custody.
