Coinciding with the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the King tomorrow, the Zhung Dratshang will be displaying the sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha Kassapa or Sangay Yoesung.
The relic will be displayed at the Tendrelthang for three-days from 7am to 5pm.
Officials say the display will be extended if there are many people coming in by the end of the third day.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs declared February 24 as a public holiday. The holiday was declared as Losar coincided with His Majesty’s Birth Anniversary from February 21- 23.
