Two men, 30 and 19, were apprehended by the Thimphu Police for carrying tobacco products beyond permissible quantity. The two were caught in a regular vehicle check-up at Changbangdu on Saturday night.
They were found possessing some 1,600 sticks of Wills Cigarette from the Bolero car they were traveling in. The 19-year-old man confessed to have carried the cigarettes as per the demand of the other man traveling with him. The handy boy is from Bukhataling in Samtse.
Meanwhile the 30-year-old business man from Shelam in Phojikha confessed that the cigarettes were for sale. Both are under detention.
