A Lhakhang and some retreat houses in Guma Gewog, Punakha were razed to the ground by fire on May 19.
All the relics in the temple and household items in the retreat houses were lost to the fire.
Police said an eye witness has informed them the electric circuit has ignited the fire. However, detailed investigation will be carried out.
