Dhangkhar residents in Zhemgang say the farm road which is being constructed in their village is of poor quality.
The construction of 1.2 kilometre farm road began last month and is scheduled for completion by end of March.
Locals said the drains have already developed cracks at some stretches of the road.
But the dzongkhag site engineer said he has not received any complaints so far and recently visited the site with all the local leaders.
The engineer also said the drains have cracked due to the impact from the movement of heavy vehicles carrying construction materials. The drians, he said, can be reconstructed once the existing works are complete.
Some Nu 2 m is being spent for the construction of Dangkhar farm road, which will benefit about twenty households.
