The mid-year review of the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for the financial year 2017-18 of eight dzongkhags- Dagana, Punakha, Sarpang, Trongsa, Tsirang, Wangdue Phodrang, Samtse, Zhemgang, and Gelegphu Thromde was held in Gelegphu recently.
Prime Minister, Dasho Tshering Tobgay, thanked the dzongdags and thrompon for the mid-year report and successful achievements of the targets. Like in other districts, the target to reduce infant mortality rate was reported to be at risk in these dzongkhags. Prime Minister briefed the dzongkhag officials to work harder to achieve the target.
